Impact Ministries Medical Clinic provides access to medical care that would not otherwise be possible, each day lives are changed by the care provided there.
Meet Isaias and Ericka. They are the nurses that keep the medical clinic running.
They work year-round and are busy! When they are not hosting medical teams they treat injuries and common illnesses, provide healthy living instruction and so much more.
When teams arrive though, they move into high gear!! Much planning goes into hosting medical teams. Supplies need to be stocked, schedules need to be planned, students and staff need to be assessed to determine who will visit the medical team. Sometimes Isaias and Erika even set up a clinic in a remote location which means that supplies and equipment must be transported and computers need to be set up. Once the teams are gone they make sure that follow up care is provided to patients.It only costs $90/day to run the Impact Ministries Clinic.
- To treat injuries and common illnesses, to teach good health practices, to offer the love of Christ in a tangible way.
- To staff the clinic with two nurses year-round who work alongside the medical and dental teams.
- To provide much-needed medical supplies, and to serve the many patients who walk through our doors every year.
