For the last 15 years our faithful child sponsors have allowed Impact Ministries to raise up a generation of leaders, and for this we want to say THANK YOU! By God's grace Impact Ministries has been able to share the gospel with LOVE, breaking the cycle of poverty and giving HOPE for a bright future. Our Guatemalan leaders are creating a belief in a greater purpose for the lives of the children they teach/pastor, and it is their desire to see Guatemala change and the WORLD! However, they need YOUR help! Currently, sponsorship support covers 81% of expenses, which has been compounded by the falling Canadian dollar. Impact Ministries' Guatemalan staff, who are acting as national missionaries, evangelizing and discipling other Guatemalans, work at incredibly low monthly offerings. They are forgoing higher salaries and sacrificing for the sake of the Gospel, which leads to them suffering. We desire to increase staff salaries to a reasonable level, alleviating their suffering and retain our amazing staff, which means the funding gap will grow in 2016. I Timothy 5:17-18 (CEV) Church leaders who do their job well deserve to be paid twice as much, especially if they work hard at preaching and teaching. It is just as the Scriptures say, “Don’t muzzle an ox when you are using it to grind grain.” You also know the saying, “Workers are worth their pay." Help us take better care of our teachers/national missionaries! What is the next step? How can YOU help? YOU have the opportunity to impact an entire class of students! We need at least 10 class supporters at $50/mo for each class in our schools. Prayerfully consider how you can be involved! We have secured over $80,000 in matching funds for the support a class program. Your monthly recurring gift of $50 releases a one time $400 gift in matching funds! Check out the video below for part two of our Support a Class program!
